Scottish Medical Physics & Clinical Engineering Trainee Network (SMPETN)

The Scottish Medical Physics and Engineering Trainee Network (SMPETN) consists of Medical Physics and Clinical Engineering trainees across Scotland. The network hosts monthly online meetings, along with quarterly in-person meetings and socials, aiming to support trainees and facilitate networking across the multiple health boards. The committee is made up of a Chair, Vice Chair (Medical Physics), Vice Chair (Clinical Engineering), and Communications Officer. Each centre also elects a Centre Representative who oversees the process of welcoming new trainees to the centre and organising local events. We also run a mentorship scheme to help grow and support trainees throughout their training.
