T<\/strong>raining Scheme Applicants 2026 – Important update (12\/05\/26):<\/b><\/p>

All candidates have now been selected for the SMPCETS 2026 interviews, and all interview slots have been filled.\u00a0 If you have not heard from us then unfortunately your application has not been unsuccessful this year.<\/p>

We would like to apologise for the longer time taken to communicate the above information this year, but we had to review a very large number of applications.\u00a0 We also had to spend time to positively identify the successful applications with supporting statements that were genuine\/personally written.<\/p>

Subject to funding being made available, the SMPCETS will aim to advertise a further batch of training positions in early 2027.<\/p>
